We’ll be officially married, so time for a drink (or two) on the lawn with the backdrop of Kirkstead Abbey to celebrate! Then we’ll head into the Oak Barn for a meal and speeches before spending the evening partying away.
End of Night
All good things must come to an end (hopefully excluding this marriage) so grab a taxi back to wherever you’ll be resting your head. Uber hasn’t reached Lincolnshire yet so we recommend prebooking end of night transport.

What’s the full address for where the ceremony and reception will be held?
Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place at Abbey Farm Weddings, Abbey Farm, Abbey Lane, Kirkstead, Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, LN10 6UH. Everything is on site together.
How should I travel to and from the venue?
There is parking available at Abbey Farm and you can leave your car to collect the following day. Uber does not operate in the area so please pre-book a taxi or plan your route home ahead of time. A recommended local company is Streetwise Taxis 07860519159 / 07376296365 / streetwisetaxis.com
Where should I stay?
The wedding party will be staying at Bainland Lodge Retreats, we absolutely love it here and is the reason we chose to get married in Lincolnshire. We have put together a couple of other suggestions for accommodation above.
Can I bring a plus one?
Everyone who is invited is named on your invite, but any questions contact us.
What is the dress code?
Wedding! An excuse to dress up and celebrate! Bring a spare pair of shoes to keep you going all night if you want!
What about gifts?
Thank you for asking, you being at our wedding is a gift in itself, we do not need anything else.
Can I take photos of the ceremony?
We ask that you be in the moment with us as we have a photographer who can do that part!
Can I bring confetti?
No, we will provide confetti on the day due to restrictions imposed by the venue.
Will the day be inside or outside?
A mixture, though we will be inside for the day if the weather is poor.
How can I pay at the bar?
The venue is cashless. Please bring card.
